Lead Fermentation Scientist

Michroma is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Lead Fermentation Scientist to join the team in Rosario, Argentina. We are looking for someone for the Scientific team who has experience leading teams and in the development, implementation, optimization, and scale-up of fungal fermentation.

Experience & Requirements.

  • 5+ years in development, implementation, optimization, and scale-up of fermentation.
  • 3 years of experience in the production and prosecution of metabolites synthesized by fungal fermentation.}
  • Degree/ engineering in Biotechnology or Chemistry / Chemical.
  • Desire to be part of a results-oriented, collaborative, fun, and values-driven team.
  • Highly scrappy: capable of working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, ever-changing technology company.
  • Mission-driven, resourceful, team-oriented, and low-ego with a positive attitude.
  • Proficient in English at a C1 level.
